An award winning community garden, based in the heart of Dublin city center, in the Hardwicke Village. Since it’s inception in 2010, by a group of local residents, the garden has developed to consist of eleven 16 x 4 foot plots, a newly hand built potting shed, full size glass house, and centenary garden.
The key role of the garden club is to provide gardening resources for all members with the intention to produce a healthy and nutritious food source. The club also aims to promote a sense of pride in the community and help improve the appearance of the surrounding areas through social inclusion and skill sharing.
There is no shortage of creativity inside the garden so keep an eye out on arrival for our handmade bird boxes, insect hotels and benches. The garden also boasts a variety of flowers, herbs, fruit and vegetables.
